Start With Customer Experience…

I thought this was an interesting video and commentary that deals with a lot of the topics we talked about in class last week. When people list companies they “love” or have “great customer service,” Apple is almost always mentioned. In this video, Steve Jobs is being heckled by a gentleman in the audience. Instead of getting upset, he turns it into a chance to talk about Apple’s philosophy. He speaks highly of the staff working on developing technology and giving them incentives so they don’t leave for other tech companies.

What’s more, this video was shot in 1997 and we can STILL see evidence of great customer service and happy employees. The two really do go hand in hand and 15 years later, his philosophy is still in effect and Apple is stronger than ever.(Amanda Werner)
