Effective Communication is Key to Employee Success…Duh?

This is an old article from November 2010 about the Chicago-based Silliker Groups’ attempt to get its employees on the same page after multiple aquisitions over the past five years. The company has discovered that in order to successfully have employees accept their new rebranding efforts, the messages need to be communicated in a way that evokes the employees emotions rather than just telling them why the changes are logical or rational.
